Stacking small chests to reach a $30 spend is the most expensive way to fund a lock stockpile. One bounty beats a pile of chests on rate, and it is not close.

Do the ugly version out loud. Fifteen times $1.99 is $29.85, almost the bounty price, for 4,200,000 gems. The bounty gives 10,080,000. Same money. More than double the gems. I wish I had run that comparison the first time I hovered over the cheap button.
